Master in Plant Sciences
CONTEXT

CONTEXT

The Plant Science Master program is at the heart of an exceptional educational system.

Plan instituts 2024

The Île-de-France Sud region has the largest concentration of French laboratories dedicated to plants: 5 institutes, 400 permanent staff, more than 200 trainees/PhD candidates/post-docs, 45M€ budget, more than 200 publications per year.

The master is associated with the Saclay Plant Sciences network (SPS), one of the largest European consortia dedicated exclusively to plants: 26M€ budget over 15 years, of which almost 10M€ dedicated to education!

The Master's degree in Plant Sciences is held on the Université Paris-Saclay campus.

As students, you will enjoy an exceptional environment only 30 minutes from Paris:

  • in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley (IPS2 in Orsay and I2BC in Gif-sur-Yvette) and near the Regional Park of the Chevreuse Valley. A bucolic mix of forest and plains, paradise for hikers and cyclists.
  • in the park of the Palace of Versailles (INRAE), near the Potager du roi (one of the first places of agronomic experimentation).
  • at the heart of the Génopole d'Evry and its cutting-edge start-up companies.

The Professional Master's program is based on this unique network of excellence, while benefiting from the proximity of more than half of the French headquarters of the major agrochemical and seed international groups, as well as ANSES (Maison Alfort), a major partner for the courses on accreditation.
